| Demand 5 |
Demand 5 is a service that lets you watch programmes from the Channel 5 family of channels: Channel 5, 5USA and 5* online at channel5.com.
Demand 5 offers a selection of programmes from all three channels, Channel 5, 5USA and 5* to watch online. Once a programme has been broadcast for the first time – and provided Channel 5 have the rights – it becomes available on their video player for a period of time.
This availability period varies from show to show, though it is usually a minimum of 7 days.
New programmes are added to the service every day.
These include series and programmes that are currently being broadcast, as well as shows from our archive.
All of the programmes currently available can be found in the Demand 5 section. You can find programmes recently broadcast on TV and also browse by category such as drama, soap, entertainment and documentary.
Alternatively, if you are looking for a specific show, head to the Show section and view the shows A-Z to see what’s available. |

Note: UK only IP restrictions apply to all VOD services on Demand 5.
Channel 5 is only licensed to make content available to the UK. If their video player does not recognise your IP address as one from within the UK then you will not be able to watch programmes or video clips online. |

| Using Demand 5 |
All programmes on Demand 5 are available for free, you can watch them as many times as you like while the programmes are available.
To view programmes or video clips in full screen, simply click the ‘full screen’ button at the bottom right of the video window. To exit full-screen click the ‘exit full screen’ button at the bottom of the screen or press the 'Esc' button on your keyboard.
You do not have to register (or re-register if you were previously a Demand 5 user) to watch clips or full episodes on the Channel 5 site. However. registering will allow you to interact with the site easier, such as commenting on episodes or web pages. |

| Demand 5 on Virgin Media |
If you have Virgin Media you can access the Demand 5 service through your set top box. You can watch your favourite Channel 5 dramas, soaps, entertainment and documentary programmes for a period of 7 days. Most of the video is of a high quality in Standard Definition, though in a number of instances video can be seen at better quality, in High Definition, where rights allow.
Not every Channel 5 show is available on Demand 5 on Virgin Media. This will be because it has expired from the service or Channel 5 have not been able to secure the rights for this platform. |

| Samsung Smart TVs |
| Demand 5 is also available on Samsung's Smart TVs through their Samsung Smart TV service. Channel 5's video on-demand service is to launch on Samsung Smart TVs, enabling users to catch up on shows such as Neighbours, Home and Away and The Hotel Inspector. |

| Demand 5 will be available on YouView which is a upcoming internet-connected television platform set for release in February 2012. |
